Do you want to make sure your hedgehog gets the best mix of food possible? We have our Hamor Hollow Hedgehogs Food Mix available for pickup or we can send it to you via USPS Priority Mail. Now you can meet your hedgehog’s dietary needs without having to spend hundreds of dollars on numerous bags of food that will sit around and go bad.
The mix we sell is the same mix that we are using on our own hedgehogs. We’ve changed it over the years and have finally come up with a blend that keeps most of our hedgehogs at an appropriate weight while giving them the nutrition they need plus some essential oils to help with their dry skin.
We use a blend of at least 8 different foods including 6 cat foods, 1 dog food, and 1 low fat ferret food (in extreme moderation).
In order to speed up your food delivery we are asking that you please pay using PayPal.
You may use your credit card at PayPal if you do not have or do not want a PayPal account. We will be printing all of our postage through PayPal’s shipping system and mailing your package using carrier pickup. This allows us to ship out your food much faster and it will usually be shipped 1-2 days after your order is received (unless we are on vacation or waiting on our own food delivery).
Delivery confirmation is free through PayPal and you will receive an email with your tracking number when we print up your postage.
You are responsible for using the correct shipping address when you place your order. If you want the food sent to another address please enter it when PayPal asks you to confirm the shipping address. If you use the wrong address please cancel your request and re-submit it with the correct address. Do not email us and tell us to change your address as we may not see your email before we ship your package. We are not responsible for packages delivered to the wrong address.
Please do not send cash through the mail as we will not be responsible for lost cash. Checks may be held until they clear, and then your food will be shipped. We will not be responsible for lost packages; please consider paying through PayPal which offers free delivery confirmation. Since we will be printing the majority of our postage through PayPal online and using carrier pickup, we will only be dropping non-PayPal packages at the post office once/ week. We apologize for this, but we are very busy. Please consider using PayPal for faster service.
If the address you want the food shipped to is different then the one on your check or you are sending us a money order, please include a note with the correct address.
$18 per two-pound bag (USPS Priority shipping anywhere in the continental US)
$10 per two-pound bag (local pickup only)
Please give us a minimum of 24 hours; more notice is appreciated and may be necessary over holidays and weekends. Food will be in a clear bin near our back door (under porch). Please bring correct change and leave it in the locked box near the food. Locked box is emptied nightly and will usually contain $10 or less.
Payment may be sent via PayPal to firstname.lastname@example.org or you may mail a money order made out to Kelly Sosik-Hamor to the address on our contact page.
We will do our best to get your order to the post office as soon as we recieve payment however please remember that we occasionally go on vacation or get really busy. We ask that you please place your order while you still have at least a 2 week supply of food remaining.
