The ANSI girl has a name; FDDI. ANSI stands for ‘American National Standards Institute’ which is the voluntary organization composed of over 1,300 members (including all the large computer companies) that creates standards for the computer industry*. ANSI also sets the standards for other communication protocols like FDDI, which is the protocol for sending data over fiber optics cables.

A’lamode jumped cage today. I caught her runnning across the floor when I went in to feed the hedgehogs tonight. She is pregnant and due any day, so she needs to stop jumping cage.
