There are many different brands of water bottles available, and frankly they are all pretty much the same. Using a bottle is a good way to make sure your pet has a clean supply of water, just make sure that he knows how to use it or leave the water dish in his cage until he learns. The 8 oz hamster size or 16 oz guinea pig sizes are ideal, but the metal tube on the rabbit size is a little too big for a hedgehog mouth.
Some people do not like water bottles because they claim a hedgehog can damage his teeth on the metal output tube. We’ve never experienced this here at Hamor Hollow and we use both bowls and dishes with our herd.
