Thank you for your interest in Hamor Hollow Hedgehogs! All baby hedgehogs available for sale at Hamor Hollow are born and raised in our home in Pelham, New Hampshire. We can’t wait to match you with your perfect hedgie!

Please note that we are a family-run breeder operating out of our home. Visits are by appointment only and we do not accept walk-ins.

HEDGEHOGS AS GIFTS

Hamor Hollow doesn’t advocate giving a live animal as a surprise gift! We request that the primary caregiver or recipient attend an Open House or be present to receive a lesson on proper care and handling when the hedgehog is picked up.

Hedgehogs are unique critters and may not be a good fit for every person, especially young children who may be reluctant to handle a small animal covered in quills. A hedgie that is ignored or does not receive enthusiastic affection and handling may become grumpy and unsocialized.

We believe that children can make great hedgehog caregivers, but parental involvement is essential to make sure that the animal’s needs are being properly met. A new addition to the family is a huge financial and emotional commitment, and we want to be sure that a hedgehog is the right choice for you.

UPCOMING LITTERS

We breed several times per year but it's impossible to know in advance how many babies will be available at any given time. Due to fertility cycles, Spring and Summer are the best times to add a hedgie to your family! We do our best to always have baby hedgehogs ready for new homes but it’s not always possible.

Hedgehogs from Hamor Hollow are in high-demand! Filling out a Questionnaire ensures that you’ll be notified when babies are available!

Due to COVID-19, we’ve temporarily suspended our Open Houses, which we hold on our front lawn and screened-in three-season porch.

If you’ve never held a hedgehog before, or if you’re unsure whether a hedgehog is the right companion for you, we recommend waiting until we can safely resume our outdoor Open Houses in the Spring before you place your non-refundable deposit.
