There are many different brands of water bottles available, and frankly they are all pretty much the same. Using a bottle is a good way to make sure your pet has a clean supply of water, just make sure that he knows how to use it or leave the water dish in his cage until he learns. The 8oz hamster size or 16 oz guinea pig sizes are ideal, but the metal tube on the rabbit size is a little too big for a hedgehog mouth.

Some people do not like water bottles because they claim a hedgehog can damage his teeth on the metal output tube. We've never experienced this here at Hamor Hollow and we use both bowls and dishes with our herd.
