We love the 11" size wheel and have a few for our hedgehogs here. They are sturdy, easy to clean, and they won't rust. Because they are made of welded galvanized metal and powder coated in a silver vein finish, they will last a lifetime. The cost is a little high, but it is worth the money to know that you will never have to replace it.

The best things about this wheel are that it's cheep and you can find it at most pet stores. It is fairly quiet, although it gets louder with age, and it cleans easily. Since it isn't very sturdy, you'll want to stay away from this product if you have a 'fluffy' hedgehog. Because our pets use their wheels so heavily, you may have to replace this wheel a few times.

We recommend sticking with the 12" and not going any smaller so that your hedgehog has enough room to run comfortably.
